Yipe 5 is a classic RPG that was a sequel to the popular Yipe series on the PC. Such as Yipe I, Yipe II, and Yipe III. The game was made by Kevin Kinell, Dylan Sisson, and Andrew Woods. Buy it here: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/yipe-5/id342584608?mt=8
Gameplay- 9/10
In Yipe 5 , there are four classes to choose from and three difficulties. You are on a quest to kill the Evil Rabbit hidden in the dungeon. There are many shops so you can buy some decent equipment before you go fight this evil monster. Also, the fighting system in Yipe is comparable to Pokemon. Here is a picture of a battle scene:

At this point, you have 4 options. Attack your enemy, Special Attack your enemy, use items such as a bag of trail mix (heals HP), and run away from your enemy. Fans of Pokemon will instantly recognize the similarity.
Graphics- 8/10
The graphics in this game have a retro look to it. Although there are no animations when you move around the world, the game can still be enjoyed. Here is a picture of the main interface:

Controls- 10/10
The controls in Yipe are very easy to use. All the controls are located on the right side of the screen. Simply move your guy around with the D-Pad. To view your items, hit “Items”. To search the spot you are currently standing on, hit “Search”. To view your stats just hit, “Stats Bar” and Stats”. The controls aren’t very hard to learn so you’ll be enjoying Yipe for a long time.
Sound- 10/10
The sounds in Yipe are very high quality. Same goes with the music. Andrew Woods did a nice job on the music. I find it very humorous when you kill an enemy. They will make a squealing noise. I was laughing through the whole game when i’m fighting enemies.
Replay Value- 10/10
This game will keep you entertained for a very long time. Yipe has a lot of content ranging from items, enemies, and quests.
Total- 47/50 = 94%
Bottom Line:
This game will keep me playing for hours and hours. If you want a good RPG experience with some humor tucked in there, then Yipe 5 is for you. I would definitely recommend this game and it will stay on my iPod for a very long time. Pick it up today!
